Chemical Program Monitoring

Caradan chemicals international will provide essential monitoring assistance and service as part of their commitment to satisfy agreed upon performance criteria. Typical monitoring assistance/service may include any combination of the following:

    • Administration of the chemical product inventory by monitoring individual field tank levels,checking and optimising injection rates and reporting same to designated operations personnel.
    • Monthly chemical reconciliation summaries will typically include: beginning and ending inventory volumes, added and consumed inventory volumes, recommended daily injection rates, actual average daily injection rates, total target and actual monthly consumption, with the variance between the two expressed in terms of $ value.
    • Regular collection/analysis of produced water and crude oil samples that may involve determination of total iron/ manganese counts, PH, chloride levels, dissolved oxygen, carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulphide concentrations, sulphate reducing bacteria populations, corrosion inhibitor residuals, %BS&W and salt in crude analysis or other such parameters as required by our customers.
    • Service reports will document field attendance by our representatives and all chemical programme monitoring data accumulated during the monitoring period. The service reports will recommend any action items requiring attention and highlight any action taken.
    • Report distribution: E-mails, facsimiles and hard copies of all laboratory reports, programme recommendations, reconciliation reports, meeting minutes and monitoring data will be forwarded to the designated parties.
    • Full systems analysis will be carried out periodically on produced water samples collected from predetermined sample locations. Analysis results will be used to develop and improve.
